PURPOSE: A head pipe connecter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve productivity by preventing air bubbles from being formed in a filler material while welding a head pipe junction pipe and a pipe joint. CONSTITUTION: A head pipe connecter(100) includes a head pipe junction pipe, a pipe joint, an inner protrusion, and a filler material. The head pipe junction pipe(110) is connected to a head pipe of a cooling system component. The pipe joint(120) is made of a different material from the head pipe junction pipe and has an expansion part(122) whose inner diameter of one end is greater than to the outer diameter of the head pipe junction pipe in order to accommodate a certain section of the head pipe junction pipe. The inner protrusion(130) is formed on the inner surface of the expansion part of the pipe joint in the circumferential direction so that its leading end is contacted with the outer surface of the head pipe junction pipe. The filler material is filled in a gap between the outer circumference of the inner circumference of the expansion part and the head pipe junction pipe through a welding process performed at the state where the leading end of the inner protrusion is contacted with the outer circumference of the head pipe junction pipe and one end of the head pipe junction pipe is inserted in the expansion part.
