<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the variation of an angular speed generated based on the frequency in accordance with the number of planet gears, without performing the expensive machining and assembling with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: This planet differential gear speed reducer comprises an output gear 16 fixed to an output shaft 11 connected to a photoreceptor drum 1Y, and a fixed gear 14 mounted coaxially with the output gear and having the number of teeth less than that of the output gear. Further it comprises two planet gears 21 rotated with sun-and-planet motion in a state of being engaged with both of the output gear and the fixed gear. A tooth part of the output gear is made of an elastic member deformable by the contact pressure generated by the engagement during the photoreceptor drum is rotated and driven. Whereby both of two planet gears can keep their engagement with the output gear and the fixed gear even when the error in machining is found in some degree, and the variation of the angular speed generated based on the frequency in accordance with the number of planet gears can be inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
