<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline storage battery reduced in the occurrence of fraction defective, stabilized in quality and excelling in reliability by providing a paste-type cadmium electrode plate hardly causing winding deviation when wound even if using the paste-type cadmium electrode plate. <P>SOLUTION: The cadmium electrode plate 10 for the alkaline storage battery is formed by applying cadmium paste mainly composed of a cadmium active material, to a long-sized conductive core 11, and is characterized in that the filling density of the cadmium active material layer 12 applied to both ends (a region A and a region E) in the width direction of the long-sized conductive core 11 is larger than the filling density of a cadmium active material layer 12 applied to the center part (a region C) in the width direction of the long-sized conductive core 11. Such a cadmium electrode plate 10 and a nickel electrode plate are laminated to face each other through a separator and then wound in spiral shape to form a spiral electrode group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
