<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing sintered ore at high production rate, when using a large quantity of anthracite as a carbonaceous material. <P>SOLUTION: When the sintered ore is produced by using a blended material obtained by mixing powdery iron ore, sub-raw material and the carbonaceous material, the anthracite is incorporated in an amount of ≥50 mass% in the carbonaceous material and the particle size distribution of the anthracite is adjusted so that the product of n and De shown by Rosin-Rammeler distribution expression R(Dp)=100×expä-(Dp/De)<SP>n</SP>} becomes ≤0.230.
