<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with a means for reducing the time required for toner supply into a developing device for the first time after starting the use of a new toner hopper and preventing the occurrence of error even if the device itself causes no failure. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with: a developing device storing two-component developer, a toner concentration sensor for detecting concentration of toner in the developing device at every predetermined time, the toner hopper for supplying toner into the developing device for only the unit supply time when toner concentration is lower than a target value and stopping toner supply into the developing device when toner concentration is above the target value, and a controlling part for setting the unit supply time of the toner hopper in an initial state to be longer than when the toner hopper is in an ordinary condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
