PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device provided with a built-in strainer which is easily replaceable and can prevent breakage. SOLUTION: The pump device 1 is provided with a pump casing 30 for covering an impeller 20 provided with a suction port 32 and connected with a motor 10 via a rotary shaft 12, a joint member 60 provided for the pump casing 30, a strainer 70 arranged between the suction port 32 and the joint member 60 and a fixing tool 80 for fixing the joint member 60 to the pump casing 30. A bearing part 48 for holding the rotary shaft 12 and a plurality of ribs 47 for continuously connecting this bearing part 48 and the suction port 32 are structured to be capable of holding the strainer 70 by a bearing rib 34 formed at the suction port 32.
