PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a communication partner, moreover, suppress a data amount transmitted by a communication means used for specification of the communication partner to be a requisite minimum. SOLUTION: A remote operation device 300 includes: an operation-side first communication section 301 capable of transmitting a signal to a device to be operated 200; an operation-side second communication section 302 capable of transmitting/receiving the signal to/from the device to be operated 200; a connection start section 11 for transmitting a connection start signal, for notifying the start of the transmission/reception of the signal via the operation-side second communication section 302, to the device to be operated 200 via the operation-side first communication section 301; and an operation-side communication control section 12 for performing the transmission/reception of the signal to/from the device to be operated 200 via the operation-side second communication section 302. Thus it allows the destination of the transmission/reception of the signal via the operation-side second communication section 302 to be very easily identified.
