PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information leakage by blocking the takeout of real data even if the operation of file movement or copying is unintentionally carried out.

SOLUTION: A file server 200 separates and manages a data file targeted for security management into a real data file 203 and an operational data file 202. Particularly, the real data file 203 is stored in a security area of a storage device 201, which is unable to be directly accessed from a client 204a. When the client 204a makes a request to the file server 200 for access of the real data file 203 using the operational data file 202, the file server 200 accesses the real data file 203 according to the request from the client 204a, and returns a response. A security management system is so configured that the client 204a indirectly accesses the real data file 203 by receiving this response.
