A pollution-free rustproof pigment composition that does not contain lead, chromium and other hazardous heavy metal elements and does not contain zinc and water-soluble ions, excelling in rustproofness. The pollution-free rustproof pigment composition comprises a condensed calcium phosphate obtain ed by sintering a mixture of calcium component and phosphorus component wherein the molar ration of calcium to phosphorus, m=Ca/P, satisfies the relationshi p 0.50<m<1.00 at 180 to 350~C.
