<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsizable reservoir of a vehicular brake fluid pressure control device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The reservoir is provided with a cylinder hole 14, a plug 31, and a piston 41. In a storage groove 16 formed on an inner peripheral surface 14a of the cylinder hole 14, an elastic seal member 51 with a rectangular cross section which abuts on an outer peripheral surface 41a of the piston 41 and divides a hydraulic pressure chamber 22 side and a gas chamber 23 side in a sealing state is stored. On the inner peripheral surface 14a of the cylinder hole 14 positioned on the plug 31 side of the storage groove 16, a tapered surface 17 expanding an inner peripheral diameter toward a bottom portion side of the cylinder hole 14 is formed. The elastic seal member 51 permits the movement to the plug 31 side of the piston 41 by elastically deforming to the tapered surface 17 side, and returns the piston 41 with restoration force.
