PURPOSE: A plasma display apparatus is provided to improve image quality by stabilizing image quality through sustain discharge. CONSTITUTION: In a plasma display apparatus, a third electrode(X) is crossed with a first and a second electrode which are in parallel with each other. An electrode driver(410) supplies data voltage or a reference voltage to the third electrode, and a switch driving unit(420) outputs a switch driving voltage for controlling operation of the electrode driver. A voltage compensation unit(430) maintains a voltage of common terminal higher than a driving voltage when the voltage of a common terminal at the electrode driver and the switching unit is higher than the switching driving voltage. |
