<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weedproofing material and a weedproof-hardening material useful for weedproofing graveyards, cemetery parks, general parks, median strips, etc., capable of preventing weeds, mosses and/or molds from being grown through easy application to the ground in a granular form, inexpensive and eco-friendly, and also excellent in their effect sustainability, and to provide a method for easily applying them to the ground. <P>SOLUTION: The weedproofing material comprises, as the active ingredient, a mixture of effective amounts of sparingly soluble boron compound granules and sparingly soluble aluminum compound granules respectively.
