<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce descarbonylethoxyloratadine in pure form as much as possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A crystalline polymorphic form 1 descarbonylethoxyloratadine not fundamentally containing a polymorphic form 2 is provided herein. The crystalline polymorphic form 1 descarbonylethoxyloratadine and a polymorphic form 2 descarbonylethoxyloratadine are characterized by X ray powder diffraction pattern having characteristic peaks represented by "d" interval and relative intensity (RI) in the present specification at a rough estimate.
