PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a physical activity level (exercise) based on a standard adopted in the "Exercise Guide for Health Promotion 2006" and applicable to other exercises than walking.
SOLUTION: A first physical activity strength computing means 12 computes the exercise strength (%HRR) as a first physical activity strength from the heart rate measured by a heart rate measuring means 12 and information on the age and the heart rate at rest input by an input operation means 11, and a physical activity strength converting means 15 converts the exercise strength into a second physical strength (METs) by using a coefficient in a conversion table 14 corresponding to the age. Further, a second physical activity strength average computing means 16 computes the average of the METs converted in the elapsed time measured by an elapsed time measuring means 17, and a physical activity level computing means 18 computes the physical activity level (the exercise) based on the product of the average (the average METs) and the elapsed time.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
