FIBROUS SHEET

A fibrous sheet comprising a gauze and a nonwoven fabric laminated thereto, wherein the gauze has a warp fineness of 5-40 deniers, warp density of 40-100 warps per inch, weft fineness of 5-40 deniers, and weft density of 20-100 wefts per inch, the nonwoven fabric comprises a melt-blown nonwoven fabric, spun-bonded nonwoven fabric, or carded nonwoven fabric each having a fineness of 4.0 deniers or less, and the fibrous sheet has a basis weight of 7.5-20 g/m2. This fibrous sheet is excellent in transparency and strength like gauzes, is suitable also for fillings having a small particle diameter, and can be obtained with high productivity.
