<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display having a constant current circuit that is never broken even in a severe environment. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular display includes a light source 2 arranged behind a display means 1, and the constant current circuit 14 controlling a drive current of the light source 2 at a constant value, wherein the display is configured such that the light source 2 and the constant current circuit 14 are connected to a battery 15 mounted on a vehicle, and the drive current is supplied to the light source 2 by power supply from the battery 15 to illuminate the display means 1 with the light emission of the light source 2. The vehicular display also includes: a transistor 12 connected to the light source 2; a resistive element 13 connected in parallel to the transistor 12; and a control means 11 monitoring the power voltage of the battery 15, and carrying out control of bringing the transistor 12 into an off-state to supply the drive current to the light source 2 through the resistive element 13 when the power voltage exceeds a predetermined threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
