METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SECTIONAL SCREW BLANKS

A method for manufacturing sectional screw blanks includes obtaining an annular sector blank and deformation in a die until obtaining a sectional screw blank. During deformation axial movement of a punch is carried out until obtaining an intermediate screw blank. The punch is withdrawn from the die, the obtained intermediate screw blank is turned about its axis to align the blank edges and screw working surface of the die followed by final deformation of the blank.
