PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional heat exchanger washing method wherein in many cases since a worker directly washes and cleans a heat exchanger by using washing equipment such as a high pressure spray cleaning machine, adhered dirt is fixed until the washing work is performed, requiring much time for the washing work. SOLUTION: An operating condition where a heat exchanger on an indoor unit side serves as an evaporator at stop of air conditioning operation or each predetermined time is adopted, and solidification of dirt adhered to the heat exchanger is prevented by generating condensation water on the surface of the heat exchanger. This can facilitate work during washing. Since most of the adhered dirt is washed by the condensation water, the washing work can be easily performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
