PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a station side device quickly performing redundancy switching. SOLUTION: OSUs (Optical Subscriber Units) 1-N (12-1 to 12-N) are respectively connected to a plurality of PON (Passive Optical Network) lines 3-1 to 3-N. A control unit 14 performs the registration processing of a plurality of home side devices connected to the plurality of PON lines 3-1 to 3-N and band allocation processing. Moreover, the control unit 14 modifies a communication channel between the plurality of PON lines 3-1 to 3-N and the plurality of OSUs 1-N (12-1 to 12-N) to thereby switch the OSU while maintaining the registered state of the home side devices.
