A method, equipment and system for measurement controlling are provided. The method for measurement controlling includes that: a network side equipment receives the measurement assistant information provided by a user terminal, and configures the measurement gap MP for the user terminal according to the measurement assistant information. In the embodiment of the invention, the network side equipment of the service cell where the terminal locates in configures the MP according to the measurement assistant information reported by the terminal, so the MP can match with the sending time of the system information in the neighbor cell much more. The detection time for the terminal waiting for reading the neighbor cell SI is reduced, and the power consumption is reduced. |
