<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine which makes compatible both maintaining of torque and size reduction, with the thickness of its back yoke being optimized. <P>SOLUTION: The rotating machine 100 is equipped with a rotor 110, which has a magnet body 112 where N poles and S poles appear alternately on the surface in its rotational direction and a back yoke 113, and a stator core 120, which has a plurality of teeth 122 where coils 123 are wound and each tooth 122 of which is provided opposite to the surface in the rotating direction of the magnet body 112. The thickness t [mm] of the back yoke 113, the residual magnetic flux density Br [T] of the magnet body 112, and the length w [mm] of a magnetic pole satify the relation 0.25wBr<t<0.8wBr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
