PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening-closing type operation panel of an elevator capable of automatically opening a return panel only by operation for removing a lock means, without requiring any separate tool for opening such as a sucker, in maintenance-inspection. SOLUTION: This opening-closing type operation panel includes the return panel 8 rotatably supported via a hinge 15 and operating for opening-closing by rotating around the hinge 15, a lock mechanism 18 for engageably-disengageably locking and holding the return panel 8 in a closing state, and an opening mechanism having a spring for energizing the return panel 8 of the closing state in the opening direction. The lock mechanism 18 can be operated from a side surface external part of an entrance column 3a of a cage 1, and when releasing a lock of the return panel 8 by operating the lock mechanism 18 in the maintenance-inspection, the return panel 8 automatically opens by rotating around the hinge 15 by energizing force of the spring of the opening mechanism.
