PURPOSE: An ink supplier and an inkjet printer equipped with the same are provided to detect liquid surface height of ink with good precision by vertically moving a liquid surface directing element inside an ink room for detection. CONSTITUTION: An ink supplier is connected to a tank in which liquid ink is stored and a printer head(60) discharging the liquid ink. An ink room(123) temporarily storing the liquid ink and discharging the liquid ink to the printer head is formed in the ink supplier. The ink seal is made of the ink room for supplying and the ink room for detection. A gas induction hole(129a) connected to a gas induction path is formed in the ink room for supplying. A liquid surface directing element which is installed at a floating element vertically moves in the ink room for detection.
