<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of preventing occurrence of nonuniform density caused by variation in ejection characteristics, and to provide an image recording method, an ejection characteristic inspection chart and an ejection characteristic inspection method. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device includes: a step of recording an inspection chart on a recording medium using a recording head, the inspection chart having a first test chart by which an ink droplet is ejected from only one of a plurality of nozzles and a second test chart by which ink droplets are simultaneously ejected from at least either adjacent two or more nozzles or separate two or more nozzles; a step of acquiring the ink ejection characteristics of each nozzle by comparing the first and second test charts in which recorded inspection charts are read, and the first and second test charts of chart data; a step of correcting input image data on the basis of the ink ejection characteristics; and a step of recording an image on the basis of the corrected input image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
