<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of time-dependent hand feeling of sanitary tissue. <P>SOLUTION: A sanitary tissue has a plied two sheets of tissue paper, wherein at least one sheet of the tissue paper contains 3-20 wt.% tissue paper-treating agent containing 5-35 wt.% compound (A), 30-70 wt.% water, 20-50 wt.% glycerol, and 1-15 wt.% emulsifying and dispersing agent. The compound (A) is prepared by reacting a fatty acid amide compound (1) expressed by general formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>CONH(-R<SP>2</SP>-NH)<SB>n</SB>OCR<SP>3</SP>with a 4C-10C dicarboxylic acid in a ratio of 0.5-1.0 mole dicarboxylic acid based on one amino group of the fatty acid amide compound (1).
