<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to perform bending and drawing works simultaneously. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the press working apparatus 10, a timing in which an upper pad 22 is lowered and a workpiece 50 is held between itself and a first supporting surface 18a is adjusted so as not to be later than a timing in which an upper bending blade is brought into contact with the workpiece 50. The height of the lower end of upper bending blade on and after the timing in which the upper bending blade is brought into contact with the workpiece 50 and the height of a second pressing surface 20a of a drawing pad on and after the timing in which the drawing pad 20 holds the workpiece 50 between itself and a third supporting surface 14a are adjusted to such relationship that they are lowered as keeping the same height in a boundary between the upper bending blade and the drawing pad 20.
