IMAGE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND IMAGE DISTRIBUTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image distribution system which can distribute an image content to a plurality of terminals seamlessly.

SOLUTION: The image distribution system comprises: an establishment means which accepts a demand from a terminal, selects a content server appropriate to the terminal on the basis of the intrinsic information of the terminal, and establishes a communication channel between the terminal and the content server; and a transmission means which sends watching/listening information covering previous watching/listening situations to a terminal so that an audience can watch and listen to the same content as the image content which the audience has watched and to which the audience has listened using the other terminal from the watching/listening position.
