<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage for a work allowing opening of an upward opening surface of an article storing container of a lower stage, wide formation of an article feed/take-out space communicated with the upward opening surface, and improvement of picking efficiency or assorting efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This carriage 1 is provided with container mounting parts 3A and 3B for mounting containers 2 thereon, and is pushed, pulled and moved in the longitudinal direction X from a rear side by a worker S. The container mounting part 3B of the lower stage is provided with sliders 7 (7a and 7b) of framework structures, supporting bases 10a and 10b provided on the sliders 7a and 7b, and a slide rail 8 for guiding the sliders 7. When the sliders 7 are slid to a rear side, the container 2 is jumped out to a rear part, the upward opening surface of the container 2 supported on inclined faces 27 of the supporting bases 10a and 10b so that a front part may be high is inclined to the worker S side, and the upward opening surface can be opened to a rear upper side.
