<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared imaging apparatus having a diaphragm holder member for preventing invasion of infrared light from the outside. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An oblique recessed part 23 formed in a V shape is formed inside the diaphragm holder member 20 disposed adjacently to a housing 11 having a cold aperture 14 constituting the infrared imaging apparatus, and a plurality of slope sections 24 disposed on the oblique recessed part 23 prevent the infrared light from invading into the cold aperture 14 through a clearance t<SB>1</SB>formed between the outer peripheral surface of the housing 11 and the diaphragm holder member 20.
