PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shape measuring apparatus which enables a worker to watch the position of each hole in a lens directly, on the occasion of fitting the lens into a lend holder, and detect the position of the hole accurately by a hole position measuring apparatus for automatically measuring the position of the hole. SOLUTION: Lens shape data are acquired by measuring with a measuring feeler the rim shape of the lens T held with the lens holder 100. Moreover, the lens holder 100 has a lens holding device 122 for holding a lens provided with a hole(s) for attaching metal fittings of a rimless frame, or a dummy lens provided with a hole(s), a holder main body 101 opened downwards, a shaft holding cylinder 115d provided in the main body 101 and configured to engage with and hold the mounting shaft portion 123 of the holding device 122, and a clamping member 118 for clamping the holding cylinder 115d to the mounting shaft 123 of the holding device 122. A confirming hole 112 in a predetermined shape is provided in the main body 101, to watch holes h1-h3 in the lens T directly, when the holding cylinder 115d is clamped to the mounting shaft 123 of the holding device 122 by the clamping member 118.
