<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which prevents abnormal transfer between a dye layer of the sheet and a transfer object and the heat fusion thereof in printing, while coping with an increase in printing speed, and also which has excellent adhesion to a base sheet and excellent shelf stability, excels in print density and prevents the color irregularity of a printed image, and to provide a thermal transfer recording material using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer sheet which has a heat-resistant slipping layer 3 formed on one side of the base sheet 1 and has the dye layer 2 containing dye and a binder and provided on the other side of the base sheet 1, the binder in the dye layer 2 contains a polyvinyl acetoacetal resin, a polyvinyl butyral resin and a cellulose resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
