<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary induction machine which is made compact and lightweight while securing an insulation distance between lead wires, and improves the yield of a silicon steel plate used for an iron core. <P>SOLUTION: A main body 2 which uses a three-phase three-leg iron core 3 formed of iron core leg portions 3a to 3c, and an upper yoke portion 4 and a lower yoke portion 5 and has wirings 6 wound around the iron core leg portions 3a to 3c is stored in a tank 1. A bushing 7 is fitted to a pocket 1A provided on a lengthwise side surface of the tank 1, and lead wires 8 led out of the respective wirings 6 are led around in the space between the main body 2 and tank 1 to be connected to the bushing 7.
