<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric device and its mounting method to easily improve the workability of mounting the housing to wall surface, and so on. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electric device includes a case 1 which has substantially a box shape, contains electrical parts, and is mounted to an attachment surface by using a mounting member; and a weight mounting portion to mount a weight on the peripheral wall surface 2 of the case 1. The mounting method of the electric device has steps of mounting the weight to the weight mounting portion, and mounting the electrical device to the attachment surface, and detaching the weight.
