The present invention concerns a method for providing a content-sharing service in which: a content-sharing request message for a content-sharing party is received from a content-playback device of the party making the content-sharing request; a content-sharing notification message generated using the content-sharing request message is transmitted to the content-playback device of the content-sharing party; and the content-sharing request message is transmitted to a streaming server. The present invention also concerns a device for implementing the said method.
