Provided are a deadline management system and a deadline management method by which a client can certainly keep track of deadlines for various procedures without introducing a unique system and an agent can supply a reliable and convenient service to the client with a small load on new introduction and operation. The deadline management system is provided with a means for receiving transmission destination information, transmission source information, agent procedure type information, and procedure completion date information, and acquiring client ID information and transfer destination information from the transmission destination information, agent ID information from the transmission source information, and first procedure information, second procedure information, and procedure deadline information from the agent procedure type information, a means for calculating procedure deadline date information relating to a second procedure from the procedure deadline information and the procedure completion date information, and a means for transmitting the agent ID information, the first procedure information, the second procedure information, and the procedure deadline date information to a transfer destination indicated by the transfer destination information.
