<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of easily performing maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system converting DC voltage output from a fuel cell 11 which generates electric power with fuel gas and oxidant gas into AC voltage and supplying it to a system power source and a power source line 13 includes: the fuel cell 11; an inverter system 15 having a first function converting the DC voltage into the AC voltage and outputting it to the power source line 13 and a second function converting the AC voltage into the DC voltage and outputting it to an internal load; a fuel cell system control device 17 controlling the fuel cell system; and a casing 70 housing a maintenance operation part 41 monitoring and operating the fuel cell system control device 17, a breaker 51 shutting off a circuit to the power source line 13 when abnormality arose or maintenance is performed, and the internal load for operating the system.
