<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for a glass retention frame in which even an inexpert can easily and straight cut the holding part of a frame which holds glass. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this cutter 1 for the glass retention frame which is the cutter for the glass retention frame for cutting the holding part 3 of the frame 2 holding plate glass in a narrow way and thickening the thickness of the plate glass which can be held, a body 4, a guide 5, which is formed in the body and slidably performs guiding along the longitudinal direction of the frame, and two blades 6, which is attached to the body and blade edges 61 of which are respectively turned forward and backward in a sliding direction, are included and one of the blades cuts the holding part of the frame by sliding them along the longitudinal direction of the frame by the guide. Moreover, the leading edge side of the blade projects in the sliding direction rather than over the body and the guide and can cut even the corner part of the frame which carries out a framework.
