PURPOSE: A foldable start key device for a vehicle is provided to facilitate keeping and carrying a start key by unfolding the start key in case a button is pushed and exposing the start key to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A foldable start key device for a vehicle comprises a start key, a lower case, a return spring, a push button, a spring, and an upper case. A rotary part with an insertion groove is formed in a start key(2). One or more grooves are formed in the start key. An insertion protrusion(18) is formed in the lower case(22) to rotate the rotary part. The lower case provides a place where the start key is mounted. The return spring(30) is formed between the rotary part and the insertion protrusion of the start key and provides returning force to the rotary part. The push button(24) is installed to be adjacent to the start key and controls the start key to be folded or unfolded. The spring(28) is installed at the lower end of the push button and provides the returning force. The upper case(20) is installed at the upper end of the lower case and protects components. |
