PURPOSE: An apparatus for improving combustion of a diesel engine is provided to transform intake air into radical state and supply it to the diesel engine. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for improving combustion of a diesel engine comprises a plasma electrode(100) which is supplied with power to generate plasma, a case(110) which forms a path in which the plasma electrode is installed and is connected to an intake pipe of the engine, transformers(120) which are installed in the case and change external voltage to be supplied to the plasma electrode, and a controller(130) which selectively operates the transformers.
