PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to efficiently execute the cleaning by selectively operating a canister type vacuum cleaner or an upright-type vacuum cleaner according to the side to be cleaned. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner is composed of a main body(10), a suction nozzle(20), a moving wheel(50), a handle pipe(32), and a combining member(25). A dust collecting unit is formed in the main body. The suction nozzle is combined to the side of the main body to be separable. One of the main body and the suction nozzle is moved by the moving wheel. The handle pipe is connected to one side of the suction nozzle. The combining member makes the suction nozzle combined to the main body selectively.
