<p>PURPOSE: An indicator for a circuit breaker is provided to monitor the circuit breaker by displaying an RTC(Readiness To Close) of the circuit breaker through a display. CONSTITUTION: A lay shaft is connected to a contact of a circuit breaker. A lay shaft cam profile is connected to the lay shaft. A trip free plate(155) is connected to a lay shaft cam profile. A trip paddle is connected to the trip free plate and the trip shaft. An RTC indicator(151) is connected to the trip free plate and a charging cam assembly. A circuit breaker main spring is operatively connected to the charging cam assembly. A shunt coil and a UV coil are connected to the RTC indicator through the trip paddle and the trip free plate.</p> |
