<p>PURPOSE: A maintenance sealant and an exhaust gas purification device are provided to reduce the price of maintenance sealant while ensuring excellent durability and weathering resistance. CONSTITUTION: A maintenance sealant(10) is composed of a first inorganic fiber(11a) mainly containing alumina and a second inorganic fiber(11b) mainly containing silica. The ratio of the first inorganic fiber to the sum of the first and second inorganic fibers is 25~75wt%. In the surface area of a first circumference, the first inorganic fiber exists more than in the surface area of a second circumference.</p> |
