PURPOSE: A waterproofing device for a magnetron of a microwave oven is provided to protect the magnetron from moisture by blocking the water infiltration into the magnetron using a waterproof cap. CONSTITUTION: A waterproofing device for a magnetron of a microwave oven comprises a case with one open side to form a cavity, a magnetron(20) which is mounted on the outer circumference of the case and generates microwave, a waveguide(21) which is connected to the magnetron and the cavity and delivers microwave, and a waterproof cap interposed between the magnetron and the wave guide. The magnetron comprises a main body(201) in which microwave is generated and an antenna(202) which protrudes from one side of the main body to emit microwave.
