PURPOSE: A phone book data storage method of a universal subscriber identity module card and a mobile terminal for the same are provided to store the phone book data which is requested on a phone book set which exists a storage space. CONSTITUTION: A phone book data storage method of a universal subscriber identity module card and a mobile terminal for the same are as follows. A first phone book set for storing the phone book data is determined(S310). An efficient storage area is existed in a corresponding storage area for storing the requested phone book data(S320). If not, an efficient storage area of the corresponding storage area of the other phone book set is detected(S340). The phone book data requested in the idle save area of the target storage area of the dissimilar phone book set are stored(S360).
