AIR CONDITIONER WITH WET TYPE FILTER CLEANING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: An air conditioner with a wet type filter cleaning function is provided to prevent the contamination of indoor air due to bacteria by preventing bacteria in the filter from being included in the air blowing to a room. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner with a wet type filter cleaning function comprises a first guide rod, a bar type cleaning water jet nozzle, a cleaning water and contaminant water collecting tank, a first sub motor, and a first power transmission unit. The first guide rod(4) is installed at the both sides of the rear part of the air filter. The cleaning water jet nozzle(5) sprays the cleaning water with high pressure to clean contaminant adhering to the air filter. The cleaning water and contaminant water collecting tank collets contaminant including the cleaning water through a contaminant water gutter installed at the bottom of the air filter. A first sub-motor(7) generates power for elevating the bar type cleaning water jet nozzle along the first guide rod. The first power transmission unit delivers the power generated by the first sub motor to the bar type cleaning water jet nozzle.
