PURPOSE: A transmitting/receiving system and a method of processing data in the transmitting/receiving system are provided to signal mapping information between an ensemble and a mobile service using an FIC chunk, divide the FIC chunk by an FIC segment unit and transmit them through an FIC, enable a receiving system to quickly obtain a service and efficiently perform channel setting using an FIC. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting frame of a transmitting/receiving system is made of a plurality of sub frames to receive at least one ensemble and mobile service. An FIC segment configured by an FIC segment header of two bytes including current/next indication information is obtained from a broadcast signal. An FIC chunk signals mapping information between an ensemble of a current transmitting frame and an mobile service from an FID segment payload. At least one of FIC chunks signaling the mapping information between the ensemble and the mobile service is restored. |
