PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup-shaped container with a lid body capable of allowing a flange of a container body and a peripheral edge part of the lid body to be reliably and consistently sealed with a simple structure so as to solve a problem regarding the sealability after partially cutting and opening a sealing sheet of the cup-shaped container with a lid. SOLUTION: The cup-shaped container with the lid comprises a cup-shaped synthetic resin-made container body 1 having an outer flange 4, the sealing sheet 11 to be heat-welded to an upper surface of the flange, and the lid body which is externally fitted to the flange to cover the sealing sheet. A recessed peripheral groove 5 is formed in an upper surface of the flange, a peripheral projecting bar 24 is hanged downward at the position opposite to the recessed peripheral groove in an undersurface of a top wall of the lid body. The sealing sheet to be heat-welded to the upper surface of the flange covers the recessed peripheral groove in a bridging manner to form a bridge portion. While the lid body is externally fitted to the flange of the container body, a fore end part of the peripheral projecting bar is peripherally brought into contact with a bridged portion so that the bridged portion of the sealing sheet is deflection-deformable.
