THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE-RECEIVING SHEET AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet, capable of providing printed matter without trouble such as matting or scorch even in high speed printing.

SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiving sheet comprises a pulp paper substrate; a resin coat paper substrate extrusion-coated with a polyolefin resin (RC paper substrate) which is formed on at least one surface of the pulp paper substrate; and at least a hollow particle layer, a highly heat resisting hollow particle layer, and a thermal transfer accepting layer provided on the surface extrusion-coated with the polyolefin resin (RC surface) of the RC paper substrate in this order.
