<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of obtaining fine display in both of reflective display and transmissive display. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 10, a plurality of linear portions 26 of a second electrode 12 are arrayed with predetermined electrode widths and predetermined electrode distances. An electrode distance Wrs of the plurality of linear portions 26 in a reflective display part R is set smaller than an electrode distance Wts of the plurality of linear portions 26 in a transmissive display part T. The electrode width Wre of each of the plurality of linear portions 26 in the reflective display part R is set smaller than an electrode width Wte of each of the plurality of linear portions 26 in the transmissive display part T. The relation of (Wrs-1.5 μm)≤Wre≤(Wrs-0.5 μm) is satisfied in the reflective display part R and the relation of (Wts-1.5 μm)≤Wte≤(Wts-0.5 μm) is satisfied in the transmissive display part T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
