BLOOD VESSEL SHAPE MEASURING INSTRUMENT AND VASCULAR COMPLIANCE MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel shape measuring instrument capable of measuring the outer diameter-displacement of a blood vessel from a plurality of directions of the blood vessel in a living body or an artificial blood vessel, and acquiring various kinds of pieces of information in the blood vessel in the living body and the artificial blood vessel, and also to provide a vascular compliance measuring method using the blood shape measuring instrument.

SOLUTION: The blood vessel shape measuring instrument 100 includes: a vertical direction measuring device 10 for detecting the displacement of two blood vessel contact parts in contact with the blood vessel at both upper and lower sides of the blood vessel; and a horizontal direction measuring device 20 for detecting the horizontal displacement of two blood vessel contact parts in contact with the blood vessel at both the right and left sides of the blood vessel, and detects the outer diameter and displacement of the blood vessel in vertical and horizontal directions. The vascular compliance measuring method includes calculating vascular compliance through the use of the outer diameter and displacement of the blood vessel in the vertical and horizontal directions to be measured by the blood vessel shape measuring instrument.
